The Myrtle Beach Fall Classic was a huge success in its first year, ushering in a grand new tradition for golfers on the Grand Strand. The 72 hole, two-person team event will feature 16 of the area’s best layouts as host courses and teams will play a new course each day. The 2014 tournament sold out in mid-September with a full field of 200 players. The 2015 edition will be limited to the first 180 teams and boasts an incredibly great price of only $375 per person!
Although the golf is top-notch and well worth the price, the value doesn’t stop there. Each participant will be treated to two food and beverage functions at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes. The first is a three hour welcome reception with hors d’ oeuvres and open bar and a tournament gift bag. The second will be an awards banquet with plated dinner, award ceremony and random drawing prizes, along with another three hour open bar to cap the week off in style.
Golfers will enjoy the mild Myrtle Beach weather during this fall time period and take advantage of this truly unbelievable value, all while competing in flights based on team handicap. Each flight will consist of approximately 23 teams and prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each flight. There will also be daily contest prizes and random drawing prizes up for grabs. With the course lineup, everyone that plays is a winner, but many more will go home with even more spoils!
Don’t be left out for the second edition of this tournament. It is sure to be a staple for many years to come and entries are already rolling in.
